Safe Climate Australia is establishing and resourcing a small, highly-skilled taskforce with experience in strategic policy development and implementation, project management and communications. The taskforce will work collaboratively with a broad range of Australian and international partners and supporters.
The research will focus on a Scientific Imperatives Project and The Australian Safe Climate Transition Plan.
Australian Safe Climate Transition Plan will be developed by drawing on experienced professionals, who have demonstrated high levels of skill and knowledge and are respected by government and industry. The economic foundations of the plan will be independently costed and modelled by a major economics consultancy.
The project has been provisionally costed at around $1.5 million per annum, with the ability to draw in probono resources and internships from supporting organizations and partners.
